Grillin’ Up a Flank Steak

MARINATED FLANK STEAK

INGREDIENTS:
2 large flank steak
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons honey
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons onion grated
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon pepper freshly ground

DIRECTIONS:
Put ingredients for flank steaks in food processor and mix. Pour over steaks and marinate 6-24 hours, turning occasionally. Broil or grill about 6 minutes. Slice to serve.

LONDON BROIL ITALIAN

INGREDIENTS:
1 top quality flank steak
Good Seasons Italian Dressing
PESTO SAUCE:
2 cups fresh basil
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons pine nuts
2 cloves garlic peeled
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons butter

DIRECTIONS:
Marinate steak in Good Seasons Italian Dressing for several hours or overnight. Grill to medium-rare. Serve with Penne pasta noodles tossed with PESTO SAUCE. For PESTO SAUCE: Blend first six ingredients in a blender or cuisinart. Cook 1 to 1 1/2 pounds Penne pasta noodles as directed, drain. Combine sauce and butter with noodles. Add cheese.
